Anderson Rodrigues is inspired by elements from everyday pop culture. It’s interactions and manifestations are simple. Experimenting with various fields of contemporary art, the artist uses painting, photography and assemblages to illustrate his own private world.
His large figurative paintings use printing techniques, computer graphics, high gloss paint and synthetic pigments and he applies printed material to canvas and eucatex supports. His assemblages and photography incorporate drawings, elements from the fashion world and his own particular pictorial perspective.
His work is sold throughout Brazil and is in permanent exhibition in galleries and art museum in Curitiba, São Paulo, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro.
He is also represented by galleries in Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, London, Miami and Chicago.
